The Islands Party Area is the most popular beach on Lake Texoma. It’s a string of islands named West Island, Wood Island, Hog Island, Treasure Island, Little Island, and North Island that is accessible only by boat or other watercraft and is perfect for get-togethers, parties, picnics, and playing in the water. It has a reputation as the “Lake Texoma Party Islands” The water surrounding the sandbar islands is shallow so boats can anchor up in the deeper water often tying up to each other for support. In addition, if you don’t own a boat you can hire a water taxi and spend your day playing in the water of the Islands party area.
