Lake Texoma has more than 6 million visitors each year to its 89,000-acre lake with 580 miles of beautiful shoreline and is on the Red River shared by Texas and Oklahoma. It has 2 wildlife refuges, 2 state parks, 54 USACE-managed parks, and 23 commercial campground areas with secluded coves and sandy island beaches for fun and relaxation. In addition, the lake is widely recognized as a premier lake for naturally breeding Striper fish. There are bobcats, turkeys, hawks, deers, and waterfowl for hunting.
