Lake Texoma is one of only seven lakes in the United States where Striped Bass reproduce naturally in the wild. During summer, Striper fish congregate in the deepest waters near the Denison Dam. In the fall, they will migrate towards shallow waters as the temperature drops. Look for them around the main lake points and humps, as well as the creek arms. In winter, Striper tends to get slower and lazier so they head to shallow flats and creeks to feast on the baitfish. Finally, spring brings spawning season with clear flowing water that attracts spawning Stripers. Look for them in the shallows up the river, or head towards the humps and points, but keep a lookout for the shallow spots in the upper end of Lake Texoma.
